This is a sound engine test for an installation working with live internet feeds from Yahoo Weather Service, using Processing and the Yahoo Weather Library; sound engine is based in Andy Farnell's (2010, pp. 471-481) wind sounds DSP implementation and uses Sebastian Tomczak's 128 Band Vocoder, in addition to an OSC module and a Synthesiser that Ive developed using Max and M4L. Visualisation is based upon a basic Processing sketch which is controlled dinamycally via OSC.
Cities sonified in this video (26th March, 2015): Berlin, Athens, London, Melbourne, Cartagena de Indias, Barcelona, Tokyo, Paris, Bogota, Buenos Aires, Mexico City.
